In_Phase

Unipolar Driver for 4-phase stepping motors

Including frequency oscillator

Unipolar operation

On display is a stepping-motor sequencer/-driver for tin-can type motors, which is attached to a print-board with the dimension of only 40 x 55mm. Added to that is a small, adjustable frequency-generator for frequencies ranging from 50 to 390Hz. All relevant input signals for controlling the driver-electronics may be directed to the screw-type terminal. The outputs of the stepping-motor driver are connected by a 6-pole Molex pin-plate.

Features
Allocation of the 7-pole screw-type terminal:
  • Terminal 1: GND
  • Terminal 2: Driver Inhibit, disable driver, motor phases are idle, active H
  • Terminal 3: FS/HS, full step, half step = active L
  • Terminal 4: CW/CCW, direction of rotation, CCW= active L
  • Terminal 5: Clock, every downward slope produces 1 step
  • Terminal 6: Clock Disable, disable the int. clock-generator, motor windings remain live
  • Terminal 7: feeder +8 – 24 VDC

All input levels are LS-TTL levels!
